Support

Cream up, lie down, go home before it costs you. If something is not working, here is how to get help.

Contact

Email moises@martinez.sh. Please include your platform (Linux / Windows / Steam Deck), your OS version and the game version, so the problem can be reproduced rather than guessed at. A screenshot helps more than a description, and a save file helps more than either.

Aopen the kit — the close-up body you apply sunscreen on
left-dragin the kit: spray. It goes on where your hand is.
right-dragin the kit: rub it in. Costs no product, only time, and it is the only thing that fills the bar.

Steam Deck and controllers

The right trackpad is the pointer. R2 sprays, L2 rubs it in. On a pad without a trackpad the right stick drives the pointer instead. Every menu is touch-enabled and the action bar takes a finger. No Steam Input profile is required — if you have imported one and things feel wrong, reset to the default.

FAQ

I put cream on and it did nothing.
Spraying is half the job. The blobs sitting on your skin barely count until you rub them in — right-drag, or hold L2 on a Deck. Watch the "rubbed in" bar rather than the "in blobs" one.
My back never gets covered.
You cannot reach it lying face up. Press SPACE to turn over, in the kit or on the beach.
I keep getting heatstroke.
Heat is a resource you spend, not a bar you watch. Go in the sea before it reaches the knee, not after. The umbrella and a cold drink both buy time. Being carried off costs three days of the season, so it is always cheaper to go home early.
The game ended and said I had had enough.
That is your energy, and it now ends the day and costs you the next one. The bar warns you twice before it happens. Leaving under your own steam costs nothing.
Where is my save file?
Linux and Deck: ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/SPFY ME!/save.json. Windows: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\SPFY ME!\save.json. Delete it to start a new career; copy it to back one up.
Can I move my save between machines?
Yes — it is one plain JSON file and it is not signed, tied to a machine or checked against anything. Copy it across.
The text is too small on the Deck.
It should not be — the whole UI is sized against a 1280x800 floor. If something is unreadable, that is a bug worth reporting with a screenshot.
Is there a way to skip a day?
Yes, from the calendar — but season tan decays on days you skip, so it is a real cost rather than a free rest.

Bugs and requests

Email is fine. What makes a report actionable: what you did, what you expected, what happened instead, which beach you were on, and the game version. If it is a balance complaint rather than a crash — "this beach is not a challenge", "this upgrade is overpowered" — say so plainly. Those are the most useful messages I get.

Refunds

Through Steam, under Valve's refund policy — under two hours played and within fourteen days, no questions asked and none from me either.
